As they progress to writing their name, with our wooden name tracing boards they can feel the shape of each of the letters using their finger or our tracing stick. Our resources are based on the Montessori self-directed, hands-on approach to learning. Using our name tracing boards children will build up muscle memory in their hands for when they are ready to put pen to paper. By holding the tracing stick supplied it will help them to develop their pencil grip.
As our name tracing boards are a timeless product made from good quality solid wood, it can grow with your family. Once your child no longer needs the board for learning it can be hung on their bedroom door or over their bed as a classic wooden decor piece.

Our personalised name tracing boards are made from solid beech and finished in a natural raw oil to help protect the wood. The wooden tracing stick is made from beech dowel and is designed to be similar to that of a pencil to help your child develop their pencil grip.
All our wooden products are CE tested.

We now have the option to have your name board double sided with standard print on the front and cursive on the reverse side. If you would like to add this option select double sided from the option menu and add the name you would like in the order notes.
Dimensions
Our wooden name tracing boards vary in length depending on the length of the first name. They are 2cm deep and 11.5cm wide.
The beech wood dowel tracing stick is 10cm long.
